Main Menu

I believe Main Menu describes itself by it's buttons, so I decided to make this section general cut through features and capabilities of the program.

First of them is, as first of buttons prompts, creation of new test. Program allows creation, execution and editation of any compatible test. It is of course possible to use test created by someone else. Resulting test itself is usual text, unformatted file. That allows simple editation of any test even without using FTM ( Fast Test Maker ) program - all you need is simple text editor. With a bit of craft it is possible to create entire test in text editor, however it's important to perfectly uphold exact form of the text. Otherwise the test won't work correctly. Functionless test will be most likely unable to get correctly opened by the program so it's also almost impossible to use FTM to fix damaged test. For this reason I cannot recommend manual intervention into file containing test - it's always better to use FTM, it's created to work with such files.

As it implicates from previous paragraph, program is capable of editing existing tests. This function is accessible by the second button of Main Menu. As it is going to be mention further in help, editation is performed in the same window as new test creation. I believe this order will ease getting used to intuitive control of the program even more.

Program would be incomplete without possibility to try just created ( or already existing ) test. Conception of whole program doesn't allow misusage it's features for cheating in working test out, but it still leaves certain freedom to test author ( and owner of copy the of program ) when doing so. It makes possible to expose test author himself to the very same conditions that those who undertake the test will have, as well as use program functions to check all existing features of the test.

I think it's unnecessary to describe the rest of the Menu. I'll just afford to draw attention to About section where license agreement is situated as well as request for your donation to mentioned accounts. Amount donated can be any, of course. Fast Test Maker is my first act with certain commercial use, I will be grateful to anyone, who will support it's development as well as me in developing other applications.
